God didn't promise days without pain, laughter without sorrow, sun without rain, but He did promise strength for the day, comfort for the tears, and light for the way.

If God brings you to it,
He will bring you through it.

"Words have meaning," said Sister Jones Wednesday night.

Someone will say, "You don't know what I'm going through." And she'll answer. "Do you realize what you just said?"

"I'm going THROUGH."

We don't stop when troubles arise. We go on through, by God's grace.

I agree with Sister Jones on that count. Words have meaning. That's why I've always been picky about the way I sing, "I'm Going On".

I am not going on UNTIL the final triumph; I am going on ONTO the final triumph. And when I get to it, by god's grace, I'm going THROUGH.

"UNTO the the final triumph" is what I should have typed. Too early in the morning to see straight, I guess.

NOT a good place to mess up on my words, when I am making the point that "words have meaning".

Amen
